Education

Dr. Pahuta attended the University of Toronto for her Hon.BSc, and continued her professional education at the University of British Columbia for her DMD (Doctor of Medical Dentistry). Dr. Pahuta completed her General Practice Residency at Mt Sinai Hospital, Toronto, and she has been in private practice ever since!

Fun Facts

In her free time, Dr. Pahuta enjoys spending time with her family- her husband Aaron and three-year-old daughter, Adeline.

Dr. Pahuta and her family welcomed another girl to the family- Celeste- in October 2021- she looks forward to welcoming the newest WTD family member.

If Harry Potter counts as a “Super Hero,” that would be her favorite! Dr. Pahuta loves Harry Potter because “he’s truly magic and a brave, up-standing person who does the right thing no matter how difficult it may be.”

Our team provides a unique approach to children's dentistry that makes going to the dentist not only pleasant, but also stress-free. Our team takes the time to get to know each child individually so we can best understand their needs.

It’s our goal to help create positive experiences so they look forward to their future visits with us.

Kids can be anxious about going to the dentist, so it's important to our team to apply a gentle and friendly approach to put your child at ease.

Children may not understand complex dental terminology, so the team will explain procedures in simple terms that your child can understand.

We try our best to make the office more welcoming and fun for kids by decorating with colorful posters and toys, and by playing music or videos during treatment.

The team looks to motivate kids to brush and floss by offering rewards for good dental hygiene, such as stickers or small toys.

Children are more afraid of pain than adults, so we use numbing agents can help make the experience more comfortable for them.

We look forward to working with parents to provide comfort and support for their child during dental visits, we always involve them in the process.

Children are more likely to feel at ease if they know what to expect during the visit. Our team works to keep kids informed by explaining each step of the process as it happens.
